With much of our country still abiding by the “Stay at Home” “Shelter in Place” requests, by local and federal governments, Mother’s Day will be another, in what is becoming an extensive list of missed celebrations. While my list below is no substitute for a family gathering – I wish all the Mothers a Happy, Happy Day and VIRTUAL HUGS!!

Books

GCB (Good Christian Bitches) by Kim Gatlin.  GCB is loaded with sassy, great characters, humor and just enough drama to keep you reading. Fun Fun Fun!!

Movies

Mother’s Day with Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts – None of their best but a nice feel-good movie about family relations, particularly mothers and daughters.

Another shout-out to mother-daughter relationships with the wrong holiday is A Bad Moms Christmas. honestly not a great a movie — but LOVE IT, could watch it any day of the year, not really for the whole family.

TV/Streaming/Bingeing

Working Moms (Netflix) I just started watching this and it is a hoot. Season 4 just dropped May 6th. Centering around 3 moms as they reenter the workplace after maternity leave. Amusing way to spent 30-hour.
